ALLDAQ ADQ-Express - The open platform for customized measuring systems
The ADQ-Express platform is designed as a CompactPCI subsystem, which is characterized by its great freedom in the selection of hardware components and easy integration into various software environments. The measuring system is connected to the host computer via a PCI Express bus extension in a stable and high-performance manner.
A typical application is dynamic current measurement in automated test systems in industry. In view of ever shorter product cycles, a modular and open solution that can be adapted to new requirements cost-effectively is an advantage. See also Whitepaper...
All systems are configured according to your requirements including measurement, control and interface cards (e.g. CAN bus). Depending on the application, you can choose between compact desktop cases in various designs and systems for 19" rack mounting. You can either provide the computing power for your system via a PCI Express bus extension, or you can opt for a stand-alone solution with its own CompactPCI CPU. Depending on the housing and backplane, system variants with up to 17 peripheral slots (4 TE each) are available.
- Transparent access to the measurement hardware in the CompactPCI subsystem via PCIebus extension – or as stand-alone system with a CPU-board.
- easily expandable e.g. with CAN bus or RS-232/485 interface cards
- Flexible: CompactPCI-based, so therefore compatible to cards by other manufacturers – PXI cards can also be integrated either without support of PXI trigger and sync lines or on a fully PXI compatible backplane.
