Biconical antenna TBMA2
The TBMA2 is a biconical measurement antenna for EMC radiation emission tests and for generating defined field strengths. Its affordable price makes it an excellent choice for any laboratory that performs pre-compliance tests in-house.
It is characterized from 30 MHz to 300 MHz and has a directional pattern similar to a dipole antenna.
The TBMA2 comes with a POM mount with a ¼ " threaded insert for mounting the antenna on standard tripods.
The radiating elements of the TBMA2 are made of stainless steel parts to avoid the disadvantages of contact degeneration over time that occur in non-welded constructions with aluminum. The radiating elements are not welded, but fastened with grub screws, which simplifies assembly/disassembly and makes the antenna easy to store and transport.
The antenna elements are fed by a 1:4 balun with 100 W power handling capacity.
