The TBOH02 is a precise, self-powered active load. It does not require a separate supply voltage and operates from 2V. It is characterized by constant resistance and constant current operation. A 10-turn potentiometer with scale, a measuring range switch and a precision reference allow the exact setting of current or resistance. It can also be controlled by an external voltage. The design is completely analogous, which largely prevents the load from feeding in any conducted current, which is usually fed back to the digital components.
The TBOH02 can be used not only as an active load for power supply measurements, but also as a current sink or current source for power LED testing and similar applications. It is also useful for testing in the field where no external power supply is available.
The TBSOH02 operates from 2V to 70V. The maximum current is up to 10A, but make sure that the maximum power is limited to 25W without additional cooling. A fan accessory plugged onto the body increases the maximum power to 100W.
